The association is made up of 240 companies, which have a combined turnover of 9,000 million euros and generate more than 17,000 direct jobs in Spain. The importance and potential of this sector is reflected in the fair, which makes Vigo its world capital. In fact, in 2023 its economic impact exceeded 750 million euros.

This 25th edition will be centered on the concept of responsibility, focusing on the transition of aquatic foods towards responsible food systems. To this end, and also to commemorate the silver jubilee of this event, various innovative actions will be developed, as well as parallel events, including B2B face-to-face and digital meetings and a special area of outstanding products will be set up.
