CHILDREN'S JUDO FESTIVAL

This Festa consists of the realization of a multitudinous and participative competition, a technical competition of Judo applied to the Personal Defense in which boys and girls of clubs and schools of all the autonomy take part, especially of the province of Pontevedra where judo is practiced as well as the Municipal Schools of Vigo and Provinces of the Deputation, and invited clubs from other autonomies.

During the judokas participate without the need to make groups by age or weight category, since the pedagogical system used allows to make a small boy with a bigger boy or boys with girls, in a competition where everyone gets a prize.
Each child for participating gets his or her gifts and a diploma with the score obtained, which later on will help him or her in his or her club or school to obtain a grade pass. On the Saturday before the event, the more than 500 square meters of 30 tatamis (special mats for judo practice) and the whole main stage will be set up. - The judokas will be divided into groups of APPROX. 50 children.
- Elaborate:
* 1,500 technical books.
* 3,000 cards and 1,500 bags.
* 1,500 scoring diplomas.
* 1,500 equal gifts.
- Collaborators:
* O steering committee / O organizing committee
* 29 referee xuices and 58 hostesses.
* 29 employees with bank and credit control.
* 29 security team collaborators + 3 civil protection collaborators.
Total - 170 people

The day begins at 11:30 a.m. and the more than 1,500 judoka participants pass through the thirty tatamis installed there to demonstrate, under the watchful eye of their trainers but sheltered by their families and friends, the lessons they have learned throughout the year.

The organization delivers several prizes to each of all the participants that fill them with joy and emotion and to those that without doubt the sport unites more than ever in this already veteran, even though by the illusion of organizers and participants, new Festa do Judo Infantil (Children's Judo Festival).

The occasion was also always used to present the trophies to the best national and international medalists of the Famu de Vigo club,
