GALIEXPO TURNS EIGHTEEN, RECALLING ITS BEGINNINGS, AND VIGO SOLIDIFIES ITS POSITION AS THE ONLY MOTORSHOW ON THE PENINSULA

Visiting Galiexpo Motor Show is to participate in an immersive experience; the fair offers the possibility for visitors to exhibit their vehicles, compete in a virtual gaming area, vibrate with the spectacular drifting of drift cars -undoubtedly one of the highlights of the weekend- or learn first-hand about the latest developments that will be presented in the various stands of the leading companies and manufacturers in the world of preparation and motorsport. The Galiexpo Motor Show will be attended by more than one hundred companies and professionals from all over the world (in this edition there will be more than ever), making the fair a good place for networking, another of the objectives that this event has set for itself in its latest editions.

Thinking not only of those who visit the event, but also of those who accompany them, in this edition of Galiexpo there will once again be a food court with different food trucks and, as a novelty, a free toy library so that the little ones can be entertained while their parents enjoy the exhibition and the different events and shows programmed during the three days of the fair. Because, once again, the drift shows (Friday 24 at 21:00, Saturday and Sunday at 17:30 and 19:30) will once again be one of the main axes on which Galiexpo Motor Show will revolve in this 2026. This year new drivers and new vehicles, which will be announced in the coming days, will once again add light and sound to an always attractive line-up.

The offer of Galiexpo Motor Show is completed with the celebration of several talks and conferences. Thus, on Friday morning the motor event at IFEVI will be attended by the youtuber/instagramer Ángel Gaitán and in the afternoon the turn will be for resilience, by the hand of the entrepreneur Fernando Vega de Seoane, also well known in social networks and who in 2022 suffered a skiing accident with serious injuries that left him in a wheelchair. Conference that comes from the hand of the Deputation of Pontevedra and that will precede a last talk that day in which all members of the Recalvi Team will participate, with the multi-champions of Spain Rally José Antonio ‘Cohete’ Suárez and Jorge Cagiao at the head. As a novelty in this edition, the 1st Galiexpo Automotive Professional Day will take place on Saturday morning. In collaboration with the Zona Franca de Vigo, it is born as a strategic meeting of reference for the automotive sector in Galicia and Spain, bringing together the main players in the sector to analyze the challenges and opportunities of the current automotive (sustainable mobility, digitization, market developments ...) and that, among others, will be attended by the Director General of the International Automobile Federation (FIA) the Spanish Alberto Villareal.

Tickets are already on sale on the website www.galiexpo.com. Its cost will be 12 euros for adults and 10 for children, being free up to 6 years. To access the draft shows the price will be 7 euros for adults and 5 for children.
