The Vigo Motor Show 2025 opened its doors today at an event held in Vigo, Spain.
The opening ceremony was presided over by the Mayor of Vigo, Abel Caballero, accompanied by
María Jesús Lorenzana, Regional Minister of Economy of the Galician Regional Government, and
other authorities. Among them, Luisa Sanchez, vice-president and deputy of
Sports of the Provincial Council of Pontevedra; David Regades, special delegate of the
of the State in the Free Trade Zone Consortium; José Enrique Elvira, director of
Eventos Motor; José Manuel Fernández Alvariño, chairman of the committee
organizer; Arsenio Prieto, manager of IFEVI; and Juan Fernández Puertas,
Director of the Northwest and North Auto Zone of Sabadell Consumer Finance.

The event brings together some 40 automobile brands and presents for the first time
newcomers to the market, such as the Audi Q5, Volkswagen Tayron,
EBRO S-700 and S-800, Citroën C3 AirCross, Opel Frontera and Tesla Model Y,
among others. Recently launched vehicles will also be available,
such as the Audi A6 e-tron, Hyundai INSTER, Lexus LM, BYD ATTO 2 and BMW
2 Series Gran Coupe.
In addition to the commercial offer, visitors will be able to enjoy a varied
leisure programming, with driving simulators, slot car tracks and
thematic exhibitions. The stand of the Rías Baixas Rally stands out, with more than
10 rally vehicles on display, the spectacular exhibition of the
exclusive supercars and the special exhibition for the 70th anniversary of the
Alpine, a unique opportunity for fans.
The Vigo Motor Show 2025 will remain open until Sunday 16
March, offering attendees the opportunity to discover the latest
innovations in the sector.
